Experimentation

I started with making the caterpillar ,  I used the brush tool and I increase the size of the stroke and making it green after that I used the pen tool to make antennae

I feel a did a pretty neat job and I'm happy of the result

Fly animation

We created the body of the fly with the oval tool then I drew the legs with the paint brush,then I did the wings with the polystar  tool I made the fly into a symbol then I put it into the scene.

Then I put a motion tween in every scene.
I think it went pretty good I could improve by making the fly more symmetrical.

This was influenced by the Russian Constructivists

Patterns are simply repeated shapes, colors or objects, ordered in either regular or irregular formations. As a photographer, using pattern is key to good composition and, when used effectively, can transform an otherwise bland image into something dramatic and eye catching.
